June 03 NoCash Productions is born lol Parry Sound is a great little town, expensive to live in, but great. I'm starting to find more places to go and places to bike now that summers here. We have a Salt Dock here, with a really decent network of trails in behind it, apparently even stretching to Nobel some 25km away, but I haven't found where that trail is yet. I'm tired enough just biking the trails I do. Speaking of the Salt Docks, I strapped my digital camera to the handlebars of my Gary Fisher Mullet ('06) and went for a good ride, videotaping the highlights. Now granted this is Amateur Night at the Apollo here, I ride extremely basic, but I'm getting better, but I digress. I took my first step into video production is my point. Under the guise of NoCash Productions (My friends will get the name) I put together my first video. The camera is incredibly shaky due to my setup, but the video is decent I think. End of ends, I'm posting it to my Space here, and likely to YouTube. Should be fun ^_^ June 01 Blog Blogity Blog Blog...Well, I can tell it's been awhile since I logged into MySPace.. July '03.. Wow.
Well the home is now in Parry Sound Ontario, whole other side of the Country, quite the change. I like it here tho, it's pretty nice.
It's a train town powered by summer tourism, but it's also a very old town as well, so I'm thinking that there should be some really great spots for Urban Exploration. Check out my photo's up above BTW, there aren't too many, but they're taken from the spillway of the Parry Sound dam. It looks tame, but when the gates are open, it's positively scary. I'll make a point of taking some photos next time they're open.
I'll tell ya' It sure would be nice to have a better camera. I have a Canon PowerShot A540, Which is nice enough, but in low light, A tripod is mandatory. I'm going to have to grin and bear it next time I go out, and make due with a portable tripod (The little 6-8" dealies).
Well, done for now, but I'm going to try to keep up on the MySpace Thing, or at least that's the plan for now considering the work I'd have to put in with creating a website. Still might do that tho.
Anyways, I'm out for now, Peace July 03 No Pics or 'Blogs' yet.. Well, when I get up the cash, I'm gonna get a digital camera and get some pics of me, my family and friends, but I'm broke right now, so you'll just hafta' wait.
I can 'Blog' tho' (who made that word.. I don't like it). |
